Next , you have to look for two numbers that when multiplied together equals -12 and add up to the middle term -4 . 1 -12 = -11. 1 12 = 11. 2 -6 = -4 * * *. 3 -4 = -1. Fermat’s theorem I wasn’t really familiar with but learned that if you added the squares of primes together you get an answer that is in terms of module 4. (depends on whether the primes were 3 or 1 in mod 4). What images did you find particularly striking? How can you adapt this webquest activity for your classroom.
