Jake's Blog: Binary Numbers
http://jakemarsh.blogspot.com/2007/02/binary-numbers.html
My name is Jake Marsh and this is my blog for my I101 course. Thursday, February 22, 2007. We recently learned about binary numbers. Binary numbers is a language read by computers using only 1's and 0's. While we define the number seventy eight as 78, a computer reads it as 1001111. Weird huh? It's somewhat of a confusing process. To convert a regular number to binary, it helps to start with a table of sorts. You start at the right and work you're way to the left with:. Jake you forgot to post lab7.

Today in the I101 lab, we became familiar with using Microsoft Excel and Statistical Analysis. I took K201 during the fall so I have used Excel before. I actually became quite good at using it so I'm confident in my Excel skills. In the lab, we played around with graphs and histograms. I've attached an image of my histogram from the lab. My name is Max Cutler and this is a blog for my I-101 class. Thursday, February 22, 2007. To convert 110010101 to decimal I first have to separate each position and define them by the base of 2:. Then, where ever there is a one, I use the 2 n below it, and add them all together:. 256 128 0 0 16 0 4 0 1 = 405. Next, I must convert 529 into Binary. So Im. Going to map it out like before, just using the powers of 2, starting arbitrarily from 2 9, just to go another step just in case:. 2 The 'mkdir' command ...

Sorry about the quality, if you cant read it the text, the first four diamonds saw "Is it greater than" and then "89, 74, 59, and 44" respectively. The last one says "is it less than 44? Finally the bottom squares say "Return" and "A, B, C, D, and F" respectively. Otherwise it shouldn't be too hard to read. Your Cart is Empty. The World Through My Lens. A unique perspective of the land, sky, and ocean all meeting together as one. Here in Hawai'i, you often her the phrase "Mauka to Makai" which means "from the mountain to the sea". Can't decide between palm trees or the electrifying, crystal clear blue water? This photo captivates the unparalleled energy of Hawaii. Taken on the North Shore of Oahu. So many things going on in this sunset that I had to put on a fisheye lens to try and capture it all.
