If we are able to smoke cigarettes, gamble our money away or vote, why can’t we have a beer? Why does the government allow us, as legal adults, to have all the freedoms except one, consumption of alcohol until 21 years of age? The legal drinking age should be reduced from 21 to 18. If the legal drinking age was lowered to 18, there would be less incidents involving alcohol.
