Things might be kinda slow as of now.i'm finding myself getting rather selfish and just perusing countless art books and references rather than actually doing my own work.let's hope this has some benefits! Nice blog over here :) I particulary like those sp, the warm/cool colors are nice. Don't know if you look like this paint, but, I guess you do so good job! Keep on blowing eyes plz.

http://mrgrumble.blogspot.com/2006/12/heres-veeeerrrrrrryy-loose-take-on.html
Sunday, December 10, 2006. Here's a veeeerrrrrrryy loose take on fascism, cuz that's what my teach wanted. After close inspection, one can sense the influence from Apocalyptico, but ever so slightly. The abstraction: the piece is a somewhat tribal emblem of the Eagle, which I associate with the term. Rough colors, hopefully get a chance to polish it off someday soonish. Friday, December 29, 2006. Yowser-long time since my last post! Well, nothin' too exciting or finalized to post, but here are some WIP's for a stylized highland cow competition I'm doing right now for a 2dArtist magazine. First was kinda just a manly figure to make myself feel cool, and then my work on the babpiping cows, to make me feel extra uncool. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Here's one of three quick sketches I'm doing for what will hopefully end up a large (7x5') charcoal/painting. I plan on making two or three figures in a somewhat dwarfed/surreal landscape similair to a Bosch if all goes to plan, which it doesn't. Wednesday, October 25, 2006. My illustration teacher was quite fond of saying, "Sometimes you must murder your darlings," If only he knew how many times I've commited homicide.mabye genocide! Got it in my grips right now, my second com...

DuttonArt - Drawr-ings, Ramblings, and Pick-Me-Ups: June 2008
http://blog.duttonart.net/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Sometimes you need to take a moment to sort out exactly what's worth stressing over in the present. I've recently had a couple sleepless nights fueled by a stream of mind rambling, where one item constantly precedes the next. That's the worst kind of procrastination - thinking about everything you have to do right up until the last minute, instead of putting everything completely out of your mind up until the last minute! I mean, why go half way, right? Wait, let me rethink that.

http://blog.duttonart.net/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 15, 2008. A Vampyre Story Artwork. Earlier this year, I had a lot of fun working on Autumn Moon Entertainment's A Vampyre Story. The game is finally out so I'm now free to show some of the background art I did. I don't wanna ruin it for any of you gamers out there though, so I'll keep it to just three images. You can download a free demo. Attempt at a french accent I've ever heard), but the game does seem pretty fun. At the very least, the visuals are worth seeing. Give it a shot! From t...
