Jacob Crowningshield would be shocked to learn that someone built a house and a pottery studio on his upper sheep meadow. Why on earth would anybody do a thing like that? Jake is gone. The sheep are gone. And someday I will be gone. But for now, I hand build pots and fire them in a wood burning kiln (the n is silent) at earthenware temperatures on a piece of property that I call home in the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York State.

When constructing our media product we thought that it was important for the audience to identify with a character so that they can become immersed in the story as it unfolds, in order to do this we tried to how different shots and close ups of the protagonist form different angles thus creating the effect that the audience are also involved with anything that the protagonist is involved with. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Aunt Pat gave him a really nifty "Cars" lawn chair with Lightning McQueen on it. He insists on setting it up in the living room at home and he likes to carry it around the house in the case that it came in. Little boys are so funny! Jake's cousin, Emma is showing him how to work the train that is set up under the tree. Here he is, barely tolerating getting his photo taken.
