The insomnia is driving me batty. i knew i wasn't supposed to be sleeping on my back but found out last night that later in pregnancy the wee one could crush a vein in there causing all sorts of ill will. ai-ah. going to have to bolster myself onto my side so i don't roll onto my back where i've slept for the past 33 YEARS. oh the places we'll go. Well, truth be told, this one came from daddy. taco is one wiggly babe and hates getting dressed. presnap the legs of the sleeper before you put him in and that only leaves 4 snaps to wrestle with. Stage 3 baby foods are bizarro to me. they're lasagna or thanksgiving dinner pureed and bottled together. taco seems just as happy w/ today's offering of ground beef and lentils. no cuisinart needed and both were the right consistency for his 9 mth old maw. To his own mouth. taco's now 6 mths and we're off and running on solids. as is the usual case with milestones, i've scoured the internet for the method of introducing solids that suits our parenting style. ask moxie. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Lola and I attended a Christmas Party earlier this month. We attended the same party last year. I couldn't help but notice what a difference a year makes! From trying to nurse an infant in an uncomfortable chair in a dark room to chasing our little elf among the flaming candles, chocolate fondue, food, drink and glass decorations. No kidding. Wyatt explained it was a Christmas Tree. Her next words were "WOW! Our most exiting verbal communication yet! Happy Holidays to you all!

Hanging out on the "plantation" grounds. Lynel, Baby Ella and Grandpa visited for the weekend and NaNa Nancy earned her keep!
