The present building, formerly the Jalapa Methodist Episcopal Church and the Jalapa United Methodist Church, was built in 1891 and housed Methodist congregations until April, 2006 when the church closed. In October of 2006, the building was purchased by a local couple. Services at Jalapa Chapel. Worship for the entire family, Sundays, 10:30 am.
