Life in the Sonoran Desert. Sunday, July 19, 2015. This summer has been unlike the last three I've experienced here in the Sonoran Desert. Is it El Nino or La Nina that is causing the cooler temps and scattered storms? Or is it simply global climate change? My Bufo toad disappeared at the end of last year.
