Saturday, October 29, 2011. When one finds oneself with reliably fast internet, one jumps at the chance to upload a million photos! Hence, the rapid-fire blog posts! Went to the herbal sauna and walked around the night market. But, since I have taken photos of everything there is to see in Vientiane twice already, I didn't take many photos of those days. And, if I didn't take a picture of it and post it on facebook, it didn't happen, right? And then, on Friday night, we were off to Vietnam! When one's bo...

Friday, November 04, 2011. If I didn't take a picture of it, it didn't happen, right? For dinner. There were many sights to be seen in between (including the ones from my last post). Ho Chi Minh's Tomb. Crouching tiger, Hidden Juliet. I think this is a dragon. Appropriate maybe. And Juliet loves birds! She loves to eat them. (so pointed out our guide, Dang, in Hue. Ha! Alexis and a fish. You do have a way with captions, missy. Crouching tiger, hidden juliet was a gem, didnt you think? All of the H Cities.

Sunday, August 28, 2011. The meat area of the market is basically a gymnasium sized open area hall with tables lined in rows. The tables are covered in cardboard and then any and all kinds of meat are lined up open area for inspection and purchase. Whole chicken or partial disemboweled chicken for dinner? Crickets make a tasty snack. All types of asian almond, uncured olive and other delicacies whose names could not be translated into English. Flowers are sold as well. Sunday, August 21, 2011. I know it has been a while since I've updated our blog, but lots has been going on since July. Zion has attempted potty training, of which I did not include pictures so as to maintain his dignity. :) But we are putting that on hold for now. Ugh! Lots of swimming has been going on. Mostly naked swimming- the best kind for cute babies. Posted by Heath, Pam, Zion and Eden. View my complete...

Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca: Rideau Hall
http://zachandjane.blogspot.com/2008/11/rideau-hall.html
Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Sunday, November 9, 2008. While in Ottawa, we visited Rideau Hall, the home of Canada' Governor General, or "GG" as those of us in the know prefer to call her. The house was open for tours, so we enjoyed looking inside. Turns out "GG's" family loves ping-pong, and has set up a ping-pong table in the ballroom! It was supposed to be removed before the tours started, but somebody forgot! Posted by Zachary and Jane. November 9, 2008 at 5:31 PM.

And I love her toes. So chubby and kissable. And acting like it! And, yes, exercising his will. What sweet kids we have! What cute kids guys!
Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca: January 2008
http://zachandjane.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Sunday, January 20, 2008. This past week another of our very dear friends from Japan came to visit. Blair has been on a crazy trip around Asia since leaving Japan, and is on his way down to Chile, stopping for a couple of weeks in the States! So, luckily for us, that included a couple of days in Ithaca. We thought to ourselves, if you were visiting Upstate New York from New Zealand for only two days, what would you want to see? The answer seemed obvious to us- Canada!
Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca: Wedding Shopping
http://zachandjane.blogspot.com/2008/11/wedding-shopping.html
Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Saturday, November 15, 2008. Our friends Melissa and Curran are getting married in June, so last weekend Katie and I headed up to Syracuse with Melissa to shop for wedding dresses! Syracuse, it turns out, is really cute if you are not at "The Mall" or the airport. Plus, we went to a Japanese tea house afterwards which had my Japanese dishes! It was so sad. I like to refer to this one as "The Sex and The City Dress" because it reminds me of Carrie's pink dress. Url=htt...

Zach and Jane: Adventures in Ithaca. Saturday, October 13, 2007. Before dinner, the rest of my cousins came over to say hello! It is a very rare occassion when I am in a room with all six of my cousins, so it was very exciting! Kevin brought Lauren and Joseph with him- they were so cute! Then, we had a delicious meal. I'd like to think it was a bit of a team effort in preparing, but really Zach and Margaret did most of the work. It was soooo yummy! We had a great Canadian Thanksgiving in Ottawa! Last wee...
