Friday, January 23, 2009. Ann hosted a wonderful holiday party for the alums of my sorority who were in the NYC area. But since there were so many of us with different schedules, we ended up doing it towards the end of January. We had a white elephant exchange - but the rules were that we had to re-gift instead of buy gifts! I can't remember what these things are called but they were SO good - it's made with potatoes, peppers, some spices, dipped in flour and fried I think. Tuesday, January 6, 2009.

Sunday, October 26, 2008. It took us nearly 4 hours (because we took so many breaks to take pictures and eat) to finish the hike, haha! Afterwards, we went to Congee Village in Chinatown because one of the sisters in the church was moving to China the following week. It was a long day but I really enjoyed it. It’d be even better if I had a couple of hours alone at the top of the mountain to sit on a rock and hang out before hiking back down. Maybe next time. I think this was my favorite picture of the day.

Friday, July 31, 2009. My first time walking across the GW Bridge! It was the perfect weather - sunny with an occasional breeze. Passing through Fort Tryon Park - it was so peaceful and spacious, very different from Central Park :). The Cloisters - it's so beautiful, really is like a castle inside too, with courtyards and different 'wings'! I like how my dress matches the fountain, hahaha. Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
