July 17th, 2012 - Animation Mentor 2012 Showcase. So this morning I woke up to find out that my Ogre shot was picked to feature in this years showcase. I was so proud! I can't tell you how bad I wanted this ever since I started the Animation Mentor program. Anyway, love this years showcase, some cool animation from my fellow creatures class, and off course awesome stuff from the regular program. July 17th, 2012 - Animals and Creatures: Progress Reel. January 15th, 2011 - Killzone 3 gone GOLD.

Animation, art, and stuff. Friday, February 15, 2008. It was my first time going to the Annies and it was great! I got to root on 2 of my fellow animators on for "Best Individual achievement in character animation", got to hob knob with C list celebrities, and took full advantage of the open bar. Ratatouille steam rolled us with God knows how many wins, but Surf's Up stole 2 away from Pixar. Anyways, it was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to next years. Here are some pics from the night.

Surf's Up got an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature, 10 Annie Award nominations, and 4 VES Award nominations! We're up against some great animated features, but I still think we have a chance. Every body part of mine that can be crossed, is crossed. Animation, art, and stuff. Saturday, December 15, 2007. I am Legend is out! I Am Legned is in theaters! This movie was a bit of a departure for me, since I don't have a whole lot of experience animating in a realistic style, but it was a lot of fun and I think I got a little better and learned some new things. I mostly animated the Hemocytes (the vampires), but I got a couple of shots with the lion which I was really happy about. Thursday, December 6, 2007. The Last Duet on Earth by Graham Annable.

Supervising Animator Director Artist. This was some test animation I did to explore the Hook Hand character rig from Tangled. Although the posing for him I did in this shot was a bit 'elegant' . I had fun exploring the idea that he might be a bit dainty compared to the others. Although it was a test, I spent time on crafting the poses and having fun with some ideas that "could" go in the film if the directors liked it. Horse Blocking: Study of Horse Movements. Character Blocking: Walking to Goofy Motion.
