A collection of random thoughts about life, the world, art, videogames, food, music and newborn babies. April 03, 2006. Posted by James Horn at 8:21 am. I've got a lot of time for Ernest at the moment - I guess it's this new Poseidon film that has got me thinking about it all. The question is, will the film be any good without Ernest? True the effects will be better, and they'll have changed the script to make it up to date, but soul? Posted by James Horn at 7:53 am. February 14, 2006. January 04, 2006.

James' Thoughts: In the beginning

http://www.jamesahorn.blogspot.com/2005/11/in-beginning.html

A collection of random thoughts about life, the world, art, videogames, food, music and newborn babies. November 22, 2005. I haven't really got much to say today so this probably wasn't the best day to start this. Been checking out my mate Andy's blog at www.andybastable.com. Though - much more interesting. Posted by James Horn at 1:10 pm. Great to have you on board sir! Looking forward to reading lots and lots of surreal thoughts and rants! Warwick, United Kingdom. View my complete profile.

James' Thoughts: Artistic Direction

http://www.jamesahorn.blogspot.com/2005/12/artistic-direction.html

A collection of random thoughts about life, the world, art, videogames, food, music and newborn babies. December 22, 2005. Right - so what I've been thinking about recently is which direction to take my arty stuff that I do. The question in my mind now is: what am I trying to say? What am I aiming towards? I thought I'd blog these thoughts down - partly as a record for me, but also in case anyone is interested. More later on today I think. Posted by James Horn at 10:01 am. Warwick, United Kingdom.

James' Thoughts: Dead?

http://www.jamesahorn.blogspot.com/2006/02/dead.html

A collection of random thoughts about life, the world, art, videogames, food, music and newborn babies. February 14, 2006. Just to reassure you, this blog is not dead yet. (despite no signs of life for a long age). I've got a few thoughts that I'd like to put down when I get 10 seconds (mostly wittering on about art again) but haven't managed to get them together yet. Hopefully later on. Posted by James Horn at 1:33 pm. Chickens hate balloons as any fool know, so that'd just be mean.

Caroline's South African Adventures: September 2006

http://carolineinsa.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html

Caroline's South African Adventures. Snapshots of my life and experiences in KwaZulu Natal. Welcome to South Africa! Friday, September 29, 2006. I can't stop smiling when I look at this photo I took of one of our creche visitor kids yesterday in the early evening sunshine. I love taking capturing children's expressions on film. They love being photographed and will hold a pose for as long as it takes. But this little boy was just fascinated and not posing at all. Hilarious. Posted by Caroline @ 7:07 am.

Caroline's South African Adventures. Snapshots of my life and experiences in KwaZulu Natal. Welcome to South Africa! Monday, February 27, 2006. God can't tell a lie. If he did it would become true. Posted by Caroline @ 4:37 pm. The cost of commitment part 1. This weekend has been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions. Fast forward to Sunday night church and a service on 'treasure in heaven' (Matt 6), with almost every single dedication (and therefore hard to sing) song possible. It's the fact that over th...

Caroline's South African Adventures. Snapshots of my life and experiences in KwaZulu Natal. Welcome to South Africa! Sunday, May 28, 2006. It was a privilege and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be invited to spend Saturday at the Chelsea Flower Show in London. (Thanks Nic! Pretty much 5 mins after I got there the rains started and continued relentless until the man with the microphone announced that 'Regretfully I have to inform you that the 2006 Chelsea Flower Show is now closed.'. Caroline's South African Adventures. Snapshots of my life and experiences in KwaZulu Natal. Welcome to South Africa! Wednesday, October 25, 2006. One of the joys of being here is the crèche. Every morning HJ and I pray together in the new prayer/counselling room at 7am and finish just in time for me to check in with my little friends at breakfast. We have up to 8 little people in the crèche (depending on when some of the workers are around as their kids take part too) and they are all precious. Well, for...

Caroline's South African Adventures. Snapshots of my life and experiences in KwaZulu Natal. Welcome to South Africa! Tuesday, August 29, 2006. So the goodbyes have started. I hate long drawn-out goodbyes, it only makes people depressed. Today is T-09 until I'm off! My current abode is gradually becoming devoid of 'stuff' as I make the trip back and forth to my parents to drop it off there (my parents are wondering why they didn't build that extension years ago to house it all! Caroline's South African Adventures. Snapshots of my life and experiences in KwaZulu Natal. Welcome to South Africa! Saturday, December 31, 2005. Reflecting back on 2005, it seems to have been a year of waiting and procrastinating. Not sure I like being 'mature and settled'. Whatever you end up doing for New Year, and whoever you are with, make sure you celebrate in style! See you in 2006! Posted by Caroline @ 2:49 pm. Monday, December 26, 2005. There are three assumptions of the project model – that a successful project is:. Implicit are assumptions that the value of the work/project is known; and that other options or possibilities that may arise during the work are valueless . Hit those three targets and you’ll be considered a success. In Agile, fluency and coherence can only come through time,...
