James took Thursday and Friday off last week so we could do a little trip together. It was super thoughtful because I had a "girls day trip" planned over the weekend to visit my friend's new baby girl in Houston. James knows how much I hate driving and said, "I'll drive you. also we'll stay at Juniper Hill the day before and at my dad's condo in Houston the rest of the weekend.". Do you ever have those days where you feel so overwhelmed? I had a total breakdown while making dinner tonight. In the middle of stirring rigatoni pasta in a too-small pot, because all my larger pots were dirty, I. HAD. IT. The thought crossed my mind to up and leave and drive away.
