http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 22, 2014. On Friday Georgia had her 5 year old wellness check - imagine that! She was a very giggly girl as she answered all of her doctors questions. She passed with flying colors and is in the 60% for both height and weight. It's so gratifying to hear how normal and healthy she is, we talked about her immune system and her pediatrician said she considers her a normal child. Here are a few thing Georgia wanted to share:. Handsaker Family Blog: Preschool Graduate
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/preschool-graduate.html
Thursday, May 28, 2015. I'm feeling happy and so proud of Georgia, today she graduated from Preschool! I remember her walking into her first day last year she didn't know anyone but was so excited she didn't even turn around to say goodbye to me. she was ready. This year has been so wonderful, her teacher, the class, everything. Georgia loves school, I mean really, really loves school, on the weekends she asks when she gets to go back to school. She's a little bummed that she has to wait all.

Handsaker Family Blog: Little Ballerina
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/little-ballerina.html
Friday, July 3, 2015. Georgia had her second ever ballet recital last weekend, it was sweet and beautiful but most importantly, she had a great time. Her pre-ballet group did story ballet to Peter and the Wolf, the purple sparkly costumes made the tiny little people on stage look so sophisticated. The rehersal - ballerinas scaring off the wolf with flowers that made her sneeze! She's looking so grown up! Celebrating a great performance with Blake, Lauren and Leo. Georgia and her best buddy, Sadie.

Monday, February 23, 2015. At preschool each child has a Big Heart Day, it's a highly anticipated day where you are celebrated in many different ways. Georgia had been asking and asking when her big heart day was, after we arrived home from Hawaii we got to work on the special things she would be bringing to school with her. When I picked her up she was grinning from ear to ear, as her friends said goodbye they all kept saying, "happy big heart day Georgia! Here are some of the highlights:. The class dan...

Handsaker Family Blog: May 2014
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2014. There was a never a day that Georgia didn't want to go to school, often asking on her off days when she'd get to go back. It's become clear that Georgia doesn't know a stranger, she has no hesitation walking up to a child, saying hi and starting to play. She is friendly and kind and very social, she follows rules and has fun and finally, likes to get messy! Happily playing at school. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. I told her it was a sound machine, that she could relax to the sound of a...

Handsaker Family Blog: July 2015
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. This week Georgia attended Woodland Fairy Camp for three days, it was every little fairy's dream. She fully embraced the fairy lifestyle between making fairy wings, fairy wands, searching for fairy treasure, playing games and having her face painted two days in a row, she had a ball. Leo was with me when I picked her up on the last day, he lucked out and got some face painting done as well. Despite the serious picture, he was running around saying, "to the rescue! The rehersal - ba...

Handsaker Family Blog: June 2014
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. This weekend Georgia had a very special event, her first ever ballet recital. Each week when I told her she had ballet she'd ask, "Mom, is today my recital? Despite telling me that she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do at the recital, she couldn't wait to go. The day was finally here so we packed up to head to the rehearsal, all morning she was asking, "now? Is it time to go now? That night as I tucked her into bed she asked if she could do her recital again tomorrow. I t...

Handsaker Family Blog: September 2014
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2014. It felt good to be a part of changing how children will be cured of cancer, we are living in a place and during a time that can make this possible. With the evenings host, Joel McHale. Wednesday, September 17, 2014. When's it my turn, mom? I'm really excited for this year, each day her class starts with a meeting between the kids and teacher, she'll be doing "reports" writing stories and of course, what would preschool be without art? It's these days that I am struck with fee...

Handsaker Family Blog: January 2015
http://handsakerfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 19, 2015. I first heard about Strong Against Cancer the day before Thanksgiving, I saw it on Facebook, asking people to send photos of their kids being strong against cancer. Russell Wilson was acting as team captain to lead the charge in beating childhood cancer. To learn more go to: http:/ www.strongagainstcancer.org/. I was a little sad I didn't get to celebrate this day with Georgia the way we usually do but knew Georgia would prefer time with her cousins over me any day! Just after r...
