I have decided not to include a photo of myself. I have added some shortcut links at the bottom of the page to some of my other work. This is an example of how the interior pages will look. James Bell – Theatre Director. Directing Credits and Training. James is a theatre director inspired by innovative storytelling. He has directed a range of works from Shakespeare to new writing. James trained in theatre craft at the University of Auckland and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. His production of The 39 Steps (2013) won Best Comedy at the 2014 ACTT awards and Leo Rising (2014) was voted audience favourite at the wildcard performance of the Auckland Short Sweet Festival in 2014.
