James studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), graduating with first class honours at undergraduate level and with distinction for diploma with a commendation for thesis. His work has been exhibited extensively, recently holding a joint exhibition with Tom Reynolds at the Vyner Street Gallery (2011) which featured designs for New Euston Station, a colaborative project, as well as individual works. James lives and works in London.
