I'm working on getting the iridescence in, but there is more scratching and coloring to do. I also worked on the hippo, but he looks like I'm just repeating over and over again, altho I can see some progress. It is difficult to get the inks smoothed out without streaks. Links to this post. For the love of painting! Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Little Piggy Banks Ready For Market. When I paint I have the finished painting in my mind and follow it to the end. But with altering pots it doesn't quite work that way. When you bang it on the table, pinch, pull or cut it up the end result never quite matches the mental image in my head.
