Sunday, 16 November 2014. I quickly sculpted my design on a generic foam head. The final sculpt seen below is quite rough and unrefined, but the wound is clearly established. Taking a small blow torch, I softly melted the clay depicting muscle tissue- notice how this makes the clay smooth and any blocky shapes are softened to give a very organic feel. After I moulded the sculpt, I cleaned out the clay and stippled in several layers of red tinted latex. I pre-painted the appliance with red PAX paint.
