Monday, October 24, 2005. Today i checked out Jm's and Ellies fun in the office for the first time. Loved it! Laughed out loud several times, and i thought to myself yes blogs should be funny so here is a joke one of my class told me on thursday. What do you call a one eyed dinosaur? I am back at university, back in nottingham, and back to school on friday. My last teaching practice! Can't believe this time next year i'll have a 'real' job with my own class - how very scary! This is the first day of my life. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. This week just gets worse and worse. So, as if monday wasnt bad enough, I went to the JJB Stadium tonight to watch my beloved Newcastle play Wigan in the 4th round of the Carling Cup. And we lost. I cannot believe, 5,000 geordie fans including myself travelled to see a very strong Newcastle side get kicked around the park by a second string Wigan side. Monday, November 28, 2005. We have spent the last couple of days in Magnetic Island, an island 8km from Townsville in northern Queensland. I know you are all probably bored of me writing how beautiful places are, but so many places here are really beautiful - and Maggies (as the locals call Magnetic Island) is no exception.
