PHOTOGRAPHER WITHOUT A CAMERA. It was time to upgrade my camera equipment, so I've sold my D300 and Canon T2i and purchased the new Nikon D800 (on waiting list). When looking for a new camera I look over the specs and look for things like a Wide Dynamic Range (difference between the lightest and darkest pixel). Rented a speed boat and went touring up antipope canyon, pretty cool driving a boat up a narrow canyon with high sandstone walls. Las Angeles - angels required! As we head back to our RV site we are battling the famous LA traffic. Nothing faster than 35km. Spent the day at universal studios. More line ups and lots of people. Enjoyed the stunt show, studio ground tour where we parted the Red Sea and was attacked by a shark. Some things don't. Grand Canyon, AZ.
