James Maw began as a ‘youth presenter’ on Thames TV in the early ’eighties and went on to be a comedy producer at Granada Television. He left there in 1995 to write novels and make documentaries. His documentary work has taken him to write and report from Cambodia, the Balkans, China and Colombia (where he was kidnapped). James lives on Brighton Front.
