Life Commentary by a Phalacrophobic

Saturday, February 4, 2012. 1) I've eaten pig heart before. Not terrible in taste, but pretty chewy. Chicken hearts are much better. 2) I used to be quite the Star Wars geek. Elementary-Middle School I was all about it. Yes, I even was Anakin for Halloween in 5th grade. Although I have for the most part grown out of it, I still secretly aspire to be Han Solo one day. Oh and in case you were wondering, I like the old ones better than the new ones. Credit to Daryn Frischknecht for the photo. 6) Most of my ...

Life Commentary by a Phalacrophobic: Prosperitaphobia- Fear of Success

http://www.jamesonolsen.blogspot.com/2012/01/prosperitaphobia-fear-of-success.html

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Prosperitaphobia- Fear of Success. Alright, if I'm going to be straight up with you, I made that word up. I couldn't find an actual "phobia" related to success, so I just took the latin word for success and threw it on the front. It all started last Wednesday, I was in my tax class. I know what you're thinking, "How on earth could anyone receive inspiration in a tax class? The entrance to WSP. Oh man, that screams knowledge to me. More importantly it screams "Challenge! Which i...

Life Commentary by a Phalacrophobic: November 2011

http://www.jamesonolsen.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Xenoglossophobia: Fear of foreign languages. I'm amazed that there are actually legitimate phobias for all of these things. It makes my job easy. I am going to become a regular latin lover . Me in 13 Months. (I'm the one on the left). It's fine, I remember my MTC president telling me that you have to make 500,000 errors before you speak a language fluently. (Hopefully since I know Portuguese already I can cut that down to about 200,000). When you think about it, tourists, fo...

Life and Times of Dangie: March 2013

http://dangieblog.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 28, 2013. One of the earliest I could find of us; Spring 2003. No, your calculator works fine- We just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in December- But it was on this very day, exactly 10 years ago that I met the love of my life. It was probably only a matter of days before I took her on our first date. We went fishing- she got the catch of the day and has been outperforming me ever since! Love ya, babe! Life and Times of Dangie: May 2013

http://dangieblog.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 27, 2013. I recently learned about the existence of stone-age ruins right here in New Hampshire. Angie and I took the short drive to Salem, NH near the Mass border to check them out. It was really cool! They've dated some of the ruins at 2,000 BC. There were complete chambers to walk through, which was really awesome. After further research, I learned there are sites like this all over New England. I can't wait to go out and find my own! Posted by Daniel and Angie Callister.

Life and Times of Dangie: March 2014

http://dangieblog.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 23, 2014. Angie and I took advantage of a free Saturday to see some things we'd been wanting to see for a while. Our first stop was Gungywamp in Groton, CT. It is a strange area where there are lots of stone chambers and other interesting stone features that may or may not be prehistoric. ( more info. Posted by Daniel and Angie Callister. Sunday, June 17, 2012. I thought Father's Day would be an appropriate time to honor my Father as well as his (and my) fore-fathers. I had recently learned about my New Hampshire heritage. Here's how it goes:. My dad is Von Callister (b.1947 - Delta, UT). His dad is Joseph Lathel Callister (b.1909 - Oak City, UT). His dad is Joseph Platte Callister (b.1879 - Oak City, UT). His mom is Caroline Eliza Lyman (b.1851 - Salt Lake City, UT). Her dad was Amasa Mason Lyman (b.1813 - Lyman, NH). Dad and mom callist...
