Sunday, February 13, 2011. Yesterday I was at a retreat for the A-team (a group of students at USU who run the orientation program). I was in charge of a short presentation on leadership. I'm currently in a leadership class on campus and I've been involved with a lot of organizations that have helped me learn what a good leader is/does. Personally my religious beliefs are my manual for life but as I mentioned above, we still struggle sometimes even though we have all of the information in front of us.

Sunday, July 1, 2012. Tim planned a trip to Vegas for my birthday! We ate at some really yummy restaurants, we went to Phantom of the Opera, we hung out by the pool, walked through all of the casinos, found an apartment to live in, and met Pete Rose! We loved Phantom of the Opera but for Tim the best part was meeting Pete Rose, the Hit King. He signed a jersey and bat for Tim and Tim got to ask him questions and talk to him. He absolutely loved it! The lady didn't tell us when she was taking the picture.

Monday, January 16, 2012. So on account of I am going to be wed in roughly 4.5 months. I have been thinking and talking a lot with my future spouse-to-be about raising little ones and how to teach them correct things. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Well my dear friends. My lovely fiance decided that it would be a funny little joke to do this on Thanksgiving. Apparently this is something that people do. hahah. Didn't know it really happened.). He asked me so nicely, "Madison, does this whip cream smell sour? And I so happily stuck my face down next to it to take a whiff. and ended up with pie-filled-nostrils! This however was a good experience for me. I will be the first to admit that I need to loosen up sometimes!

Sunday, December 4, 2011. Pinterest to the Rescue! So lots of people have the theory that Pinterest is a time waster and that is doesn't provide any useful things. I completely disagree. To me, Pinterest is. Teaching me new skills. Adding to my recipe stash. Helping me dress better. Boosting my photography knowledge. Completed my wedding planning process. Nick and I needed a breakfast recipe yesterday. and Pinterest came to our rescue. We made a low carb-low fat breakfast pizza and LOVED IT! Give it a go!

Monday, May 28, 2012. I had never been tide pooling and Tim wanted to take me so over President's Day we went to Moss Beach! It was awesome I loved it! I love just being by the ocean too, it is always so pretty! The sea squirts were my favorite! You would poke them and they would squirt water all over! It was so awesome! Sunday, July 1, 2012. Family, Alcatraz, and Monterey. My family came to visit Tim and I in California! They came on my birthday, April 25! What a great birthday present! It was so much fun! We ate tons and tons of great food the entire time! I got to see baby Leo and he has changed so much from the last time I saw him. He is so cute! Sketchy looking guard tower! I love the stairs but they look a little scary to walk up, especially if the wind is blowing. The cells were so small! These birds look awesome!

Sunday, September 25, 2011. This weekend while Nick was out of town at a conference in Las Vegas I went with the rest of his family up to Bear Lake for one GREAT WEEKEND! We had a blast!
