We beat the rush to Sodwana for the long weekend and also got in ahead of the bad weather that arrived just as we were leaving. I could not think without writing – Jean Piaget. Travels Ndumo Game Reserve, September 2014. October 9, 2014. On our last day in Sodwana we left early and spent the day in Ndumo Game Reserve. Ndumo is one of the smaller game reserves, measuring just over 10,000 hectares, less than a fifth the size of the Pilanesberg. The staff were incredibly friendly at the entrance gate and at reception. Suni, shy and retiring. Unfortunately photo taken from the hide hardly does justice to the view or to the birds in it.
