Many of the temples were originally built to honour Hindu deities, but many now have images of Buddha sat on the yoni. Below are some smiling faces, including my smug mug. Eat, sleep, fence,. Thursday, October 28, 2004. I went to give a talk at an IChemE meeting at the Lowry yesterday. I haven't done any big presentations for a while so I was a bit nervous about being nervous. I even made Sian sit through it the night before so I could practice. Poor girl. Still, it was probably worth it as the talk went well in the end. By which I mean I didn't spot anyone slumped in their chair crying or pleading to die. They even gave me a "beautiful" gift. We had a lovely walk in Dove Dale on the Saturday and went to Monsal Viaduct. On Sunday. Sunday also saw us take in the delights of Bakewell and its famous tarts.
