I Am JP: March 2009
http://jamesrparker.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
This was me at 645 this morning. Where were you and what were u doing? Please don't be jealous of my sweet outfit. It was incredibly muddy. I'll post the finished video later this week. Posted by J Parker. Don't Miss Today Because You Are Worried About Tomorrow. 1,097 people walked past him and only a handful stopped to listen. They were completely ignoring a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear this guy. Posted by J Parker. Be Who You Be # 1. Let me first start out telling you who I am. 160;That's not...

A little trip to Laguna Beach before the conference started that morning. Posted by J Parker. Here are the 6 questions that we are asking ourselves in the worship department. Perhaps you should ask them in your life and in your context. 1 Do you still love your job? 2 Do you consistently seek after him before you step on the stage/step into your office? 3 Are you just going through the motions? 4 Do your people see you as their leader? 6 Is your spiritual life evident to the people you are leading? On a ...
I Am JP: Based on Experience
http://jamesrparker.blogspot.com/2009/08/based-on-experience.html
So last week,. Many of you who know me well, know this is one of the things I obsess about in my life. I've spent more time watching and listening to guys that I'm willing to admit. Yeah, it's probably a little weird to you, and at times, weird to me to). The reasons I thought I had to perform:. 1 We've got the best in the business around here when it comes to communicating. 2 It had been over 2 1/2 years since I was asked to speak to a mainly adult audience. Here's what I Learned:. 4 Don't think you are...

The Door Is Worth Fighting 4. 2nd week in our youth ministry series. If you get that far (26 minutes) and wonder what the beeping is. I preach with a timer and well let's just say that's the first time I've ever been on any stage and forgot about it. Posted by J Parker. This is the short film series we are calling "Hope" that we are placing in the hands of hundreds of people throughout our community. . And as T.O. would say, "get your popcorn ready! I Am JP: Walking After Midnight
http://jamesrparker.blogspot.com/2010/07/walking-after-midnight.html
The title. well it's a Garth Brooks song, and it felt cool to put it up there). Over the last 3 or 4 months God has really been shaking things up in my life. It's really hard to explain. After reading the bible through in 90 days, God began to reveal some incredible things to me about who He is, and what He might be calling me to do. My prayer was: "God if You want me to do this, I will, but I need You to blow me away with what You are going to do, or I'm not going.". In Grapevine/Fort Worth in their cre...

a moment with the millers: November 2009
http://grantandchristie.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
A moment with the millers. Sunday, November 1, 2009. This year for Halloween we made a couple of stops! First we went to Grant's mom and dad's house. They had a whole bag full of treats waiting for her. Then we walked down the street to Nana's house (Grant's grandmother). Macie got a bag of candy there too! She was not going to have it! Then at Sherry's she saw that other children were dressed up and she decided to have her picture in it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). JB and The Boys.
a moment with the millers: state fair
http://grantandchristie.blogspot.com/2009/10/state-fair.html
A moment with the millers. Monday, October 12, 2009. Sunday we braved the weather, and took Macie on her first trip to the fair. We came in the gate by the Midway. Macie couldn't take her eyes off the big rides. We walked around and looked in all the exhibits. It was a little cool, so we tried to stay inside as much as we could. A couple of times we got caught up in Oprah's entourage! Grant got to see her, but I'm too short! Macie loved looking at the animals! Mommy and Macie Grace. JB and The Boys.
a moment with the millers: August 2009
http://grantandchristie.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
A moment with the millers. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Today marks one week that Macie has been in her "big girl bed"! She has been climbing like crazy and was starting to try to get out of her crib. Grant and I decided that it was time to convert the crib to a toddler bed. She is loving it, and so far has not fallen out! I was kind of sad putting the bumper pads in the closet. The teachers tell me she is very polite, but she can have an attitude. I'd say that pretty accurate! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
The Groves Family Blog: January 2009
http://angntim.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
The Groves Family Blog. Texas Transplants in the beautiful land of NC! Monday, January 26, 2009. In the classroom all day. And only 1 meltdown and it wasn't me. There was 1 poop in the pants during nap and 1 wet the mat during naptime. But I didn't have to clean either up. WooHoo! But I like my class. There's definitely opportunity for ministry to kids and parents. I'm making cake pearls tonight since Tim's at Men's Frat. Other than that not much is going on! Sunday, January 11, 2009. Have a great day!

The Groves Family Blog. Texas Transplants in the beautiful land of NC! Monday, August 9, 2010. It's Ang. What a year so far! I turned 30 (blech) in February. In May we found out we're finally pregnant! Don't think we'll find out what it is, but Wednesday is that sonogram. Just returned from a 7 day cruise, so I wanted to give you the low down. Saturday morning we took the shuttle to the port and they flagged me for being preggo eventhough I had ALREADY turned in my Dr.'s note! Why can't I just have one?

a moment with the millers: night of the great pumpkin
http://grantandchristie.blogspot.com/2009/10/night-of-great-pumpkin.html
A moment with the millers. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Night of the great pumpkin. Last night we carved the pumpkin that we got at the Pumpkin Patch. At first Macie didn't want to have anything to do with it. She kept saying "nasty" and would just watch us. After a few minutes she got a little more brave. Her favorite thing was stirring the bowl of pumpkin guts. After getting the inside of the pumpkin cleaned out, Macie had to go straight to the bathtub! Overall.a very fun night! JB and The Boys.
a moment with the millers: July 2009
http://grantandchristie.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
A moment with the millers. Friday, July 24, 2009. As many of you know, Jax was our baby before Macie came along. He went everywhere with us, was an incredible companion, and probably was one of the smartest dogs you'd ever seen. We always joked that Jax never really realized that he was a dog. He was just part of the family. I never thought I was a dog person, but I sure loved him! Anyone who has a dog knows how much we miss him. Jaxbud, I hope you're in heaven chasing rabbits and eating lots of treats!
