Hello my name is James Uejio. Portrait Painted by Jon Xie. And I am a computer scientist. And I am a musician. My CS life truly began junior year of high school. I taught myself Java to skip to AP Computer Science, and there I fell in love with programming. At the age of 8, I took up the piano, and after three years, switched to guitar. I formed a rock band, and performed at places like The Fillmore and Bimbo's Cafe. But alas, I craved complexity, and at the age of 13 switched to jazz.
