Managed Sites » Rio Bravo Web Design Upper Hutt

Some of our clients have come to us with a website that had already been built by somebody else and now needs managing. This can, and does, happen for many reasons: the original designer may have moved or left the business, it could be a matter of cost or any other number of situations. Whatever the reason, we're always happy to take on management of existing websites and have experience with several popular Content Management Systems (CMS), such as Silverstripe, Wordpress, Drupal, ModX and Joomla. Kaitoke Grand Design: October 2007
http://kaitokegranddesign.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 October 2007. Week 30: periously close. Every day the basics get more finished and the finishing touches are installed. We are hours away from handover and the build team are working flat out to get us ready for handover and move in. It's hard to believe we've gone from dirt to the detailed furnishings. Now only the packing to worry about! New home for shoes. Entertainment HQ (almost complete). Electrician hard at work - there were plenty of others making it a real team effort. With a week ...

Thursday, 28 February 2008. It's time to live. Visitors to this site will notice that it has not been updated for a time. I know that this is a bloggers worst crime! It is however time to move on and live the life intended in the Kaitoke Grand Design so I'm officially closing entries. It's been fun to share our building adventure. If you're interested to know what we're up to now you can check out this blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Builders of our heritage barn - Versatile. Our landscaper - Jamie Reid.

Kaitoke Grand Design: March 2007
http://kaitokegranddesign.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 March 2007. Week 3: At least the rain has stopped. Not much has been happening on site this week - it's a waiting game until the builders can get on site. At least that the rain has stopped - it's amazing how the sun can dry things up. The views still look good though! Sunday, 18 March 2007. Week 2: what harm can a little rain do? After a week of changeable weather we approached the Kaitoke Grand Design site with some apprehension. Would there be anything done? A real flat building platform.

Kaitoke Grand Design: April 2007
http://kaitokegranddesign.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 25 April 2007. Weeks 7&8: floors and essential services. With the Anzac Day on a Wednesday we delayed our photoblogging trip so this shows progress during weeks 7 and 8. The floor in all its glory. 22,500 litres water tank - hope it will be big enough! Our very own sewage treatment plant = already hooked up to the builders bathroom! A European eccentricity - insulation to a kiwi house! Monday, 16 April 2007. Week 6: the pink flush of growth. View from the corner where our bedroom will be.

http://kaitokegranddesign.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Monday, 28 May 2007. Week 12: wrapping up for winter. Massive progress again this week - Chris and his team are working wonders. Part of the roof on and wrapping on the house ready for winter. New view from the Tunnel Gulley pathway - side view of the house and the neighbours cows. Close up on the roof and wrapping. The kitchen barrel roof is shaping up nicely under the roof. The new roof shaping up in all it's glory! Sunday, 20 May 2007. Week 11: closing in. This view still fails to delight on arrival.

52 Weeks of Photos
Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Hurry up and wait. We were hoping to go back to Germany. We are keeping that open right now. Once I am done with school we are going to look into civilian jobs there so we can go back. We still do not have an exact date we will be moving. It will all depend how far out the movers are backed up. If they have a date a week from now then we will be leaving. I feel so unprepared! Links to this post. Monday, June 13, 2011.
