January 23, 2010. Christmas is always my favorite time of year! We enjoyed spending time together as a family and making memories. With having a five year old our home still, the magical feeling still was present and it is always fun to see the girls reaction as well. September 11, 2009. So Much Has Happened These Past 4 Months. Being a working mom and having 4 children running in different directions leads to a busy life but most rewarding life. I am realizing more and more how fast time does go by. Amanda is a Junior at Blackfoot High School, Brianne is in 8th grade at MVMS, Kaitlyn is in 5th grade at Wapello and Carson is in Kindergarten at Irving Kindergarten Center. Kaitlyn played Softball for Gametime. She had amazing coaches! Family is such a wonderful blessing!

12 year veteran Police Officer Jamie Buenting was shot and killed during a standoff at a home in Rockwell City, IA. Buenting, 37, was married and had two young children. In addition to serving on Rockwell City's police force, Buenting owned a company called Iowa Firearms Safety and Tactics and taught at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in Johnston.
