All clean and ready for packing and hopefully a steady awesome journey! Posted in Docked in Cape Town. The trip to Trinidad was amazing- still full of Brazilian party vibe. and the festive Neptunes’ Ball… inviting lots of fish, chess, ships, sunsets, hot mornings and hotter days, moonlight nights and stormy rains to cool off the Caribbean sun! Crew strong and food good- missing family but loving the open ocean… cant wait for the joyful land of Trinidad…. maan! Jan watching over tuna. Hello yummy Yellow Fin Tuna! Ricky and the hung Tuna. Arriving on a beautiful day, our stay at St Helena got off to a great start! Beers all round- then i was off to tour the island- the boys stayed at the bar🙂 A friendly little island, rich in history with Napoleon’s tomb, and the oldest tortoise- there is so much more to St. Helena than what meets the eye! Our yacht, moored at St. Helena. Jan on the water taxi. Ricky on water taxi. Main street in George Town, St Helena. Main Street, Hotel, Bar and General Store. Town church, mountain cliff back drop.

A celebration of life. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. The transit through the canal went as smooth as it could. I was a line handler and snagged some photos when I was able to. The lighting was beautiful and it was an incredible experience. It was my captain's first time through the canal, along with the crew so they were all a bit nervous!
