Thursday, June 11, 2015. It's been fun times in the garden this week. The summer brings all outdoors. It's become harder and harder to convince the boys to come in at night. so why bother. the tramp makes a great outdoor bedroom. My childhood trampoline was a pillar for fun. It even followed me into my teen years, where it became a huge hangout spot with friends. I'm glad to see it seems to have the same role for my own children. You may wonder what happens at 9:30. chores begin. swimming lessons. reading group at the library. organized family breakfast? Friday, July 24, 2015. As for the changes, growth, and goings on in the garden this week. We've finally started picking zucchini off of our huge plants. Rasberry harvesting brings all to help (you get to eat what you pick), especially Abe, who is the most dedicated to fully immersing himself into the plants (can you spot him? Clothing has been optional. We've enjoyed the company of some feathered friends like. Lucy, our goose that really did follow Sol home from the river bottoms. Yes he is sleeping.

Friday, July 24, 2015. I found this great old cupboard. I don't know what to do with it, but at $4 I couldn't leave it behind. Also making a favorite find is a great little chick plate. I have a feeling it's new made to look old, but I'm not a purest, and I love it!
