Thursday, November 1, 2012. These outfits were part of my ambitious plan for the KCWC. Mr J's outfit isn't completely homemade. I bought his t-shirt with the idea of putting something on it but he wanted it the way it was. His shorts I made using the flat front version of Dana's kids shorts. And some Denise Schmidt fabric I picked up at my local Spotlight store for $3.00 for 1/2 a metre. I added some simple pockets into the side seams. What 4yr old boy doesn't love to fill his pockets with treasures?

Thursday, September 27, 2012. Kids Clothes Week Challenge. I'm in, are you? I have ideas floating around in my head and I have dedicated a pinterest board to KCWC. I can't wait! Monday, September 24, 2012. I love a quick sewing project and summer P.J's are great to whip up in just a couple of hours. These sets are for a friend with two beautiful boys. I used a shorts pattern I made myself last year and did a simple applique shape on a store bought t-shirt. Super quick but very effective. A Girly Dress Up.

My go to shorts pattern for something quick and easy to whip up whilst still looking great is the kid short tutorial. By Dana. Sunday, July 3, 2011. July Themed Sew Along. The theme for this months sew along is 'Family.' We decided this could be taken in many ways, i.e. gifts for family, sewing for family, sewing about family etc. I decided to whip up something I had seen in this handmade magazine. I borrowed from the local library recently. (It's issue 28 vol 11 for those playing at home.) Monday, July 4, 2011. Little bit of sewing. I have started three new sewing items in the last two weeks and also had a trip to the quilt show at Darling Harbour. I love a good quilt show and this one defiantly live up to expectations for me. I had a ball and just wish I didn't have to hear that "we will be closing in five minutes" over the loud speaker LOL. I got a few supplies and looked at a few things that I have wanted to try so this year I am going to have a go at a few things outside my comfort zone.

Saturday, March 20, 2010. Well it has been a nice quite day here today. We picked up a new buffet for the kitchen and then the kids wanted to do some paintings. Luke was a powerhouse having an absolute ball and trying to paint as many pictures as he could. Jack finished two pictures. One was a copy from a book that we loved the illustrations in and the other was the hungry caterpillar. He did such a great job and of course I had to have a little paint as well. But I forgot. Will get pics tomorrow.

Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Someone asked about the flamingo fabric and I have just remembered to get back here with the details LOL. It is a Michael Miller fabric and I picked it up from the Craft depot. About a month ago. I actually managed to get 2 meters on sale so this was marked down to $7.95 a meter, what a bargain. So I still have 2 meters of it since I bought two lots LOL. 160;Now to decided what to make mmmmmmm. Whats a girl to do. With a spare five minutes. Make a dog jumper of course.

Thursday, September 3, 2009. My baby is 5. I can't believe my baby is five. He has been so excited today walking around saying "I can't believe it is my birthday" LOL. Domingo, 16 de agosto de 2009. Se passaram 25 dias, não tenho me pesado para não. Apesar de que a curiosidade é grande. A partir. De hoje a alimentação muda, sair do pastoso e entro para solido, heeeeeeeeee. Que alegria viu, nunca sentir uma saudade tã o. Grande de mastigar, mais não. Como muito fica como antes, 2 colheres(sopa) de arroz, 2 colheres(sopa) de proteína. E 1 clara de ovo cozido e aumenta o intervalo de vez de 2 em 2 horas passa há. 3 em 3 horas, mais não.
