Jaymee: Missing you
http://jaymeslife.blogspot.com/2008/12/missing-you.html
Love can touch just one time and last for a lifetime. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. But other than that everything is great. I am working two jobs and joined a gym so I am staying pretty busy which I like. I love being home with family. My christmas went really good and very relaxing. No big plans for New Years, just babysitting and hopefully getting some money out of it. But thats all for now. The first part is sad. And the second part sounds like fun. January 29, 2009 at 7:36 AM. MI FAMILIA Y AMIGOS.

Bullocks of Woodinville: October 2008

Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Quepos - Costa Rica. The city of Quepos sits right on the beach. Here is the view from the main street. This is one of the main bridges that gets you in and out of Quepos. Two times we had to wait about an hour to cross because they were doing work on it. The bridge would shake and rattle each time we crossed. Definitely an entertaining ride. Our First Sunday with the group in Quepos (soon to be la rama). Inside of the church in Quepos. Keri with Zeidy (mother of Ryan and Kyle).

Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Thursday, October 23, 2008. We hope they call us on a mission! Meet two darling cousins who are both anxious to serve missions. They are Vickey (19) on the left and Bibi (21) on the right. Last Sunday, they went with us across the big Berbice River on the ferry to visit the Rosignol Branch and to visit with. Roopa (21) who has just turned in her missionary papers. Here's a look at some of the sights we saw as we drove to the ferry stelling:. A new recycling center in town. With t...

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: Memories from Trinidad
http://bullocksoflakeoswego.blogspot.com/2010/03/memories-from-trinidad.html
Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. We immediately fell in love with the "doubles". Small stands selling these homemade little treats are all over the island of Trinidad. Anyone that wants to sell them just picks a spot on the street, puts up a small homemade sign and starts selling them. This one is half eaten, unfortunately. I'd like to eat a couple of them right now! We quickly discovered that the Trinis spoke really fast and drove even faster. We loved them, as we did the Guyanese.

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: November 2009
http://bullocksoflakeoswego.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Saturday, November 21, 2009. Meet some of the members of Point Fortin branch as they arrived at what was advertised as a fireside in San Fernando, a ward building that is a one-hour ride from their home. Wow, look how fancy they all look! As you may have noticed, most are wearing new dresses for the occasion. Even Frank, our rasta man, in the back has new duds on. What's the saying, "All dressed up with nowhere to go? I'm thinking that is how they were feeling. By the third hairc...

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: December 2009

Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Christmas morning at the Orphanage. It was 10:00 am when the 14 elders and 4 senior missionaries serving in the So. Trinidad Zone knocked on the door of the Hope Center Orphanage. I had made an appointment for us to visit the children with a program and presents on Christmas morning. They hustled to get the children all dressed. One by one they combed all the girls' hair (most were girls)and finally we were ready for our show to begin in the large...

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: May 2009

Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Monday, May 18, 2009. Where you been, Elder? He's coming out the entrance of the home of one of the families in our branch we've just visited.). Watch out for the mud, Elder! And here comes Elder Lee right behind him. Here we are in Trinidad at the Couple's Conference where we met and fell in love with Elder and Sister Hymas! Do I look just a little crazy hiking with a purse? And wearing a skirt? Here's cute Janellie, Jade's little angel, up close. You can almost smell her sw...

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: August 2009

Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Baptisms in the Berbice. This is the mighty Berbice River and a baptism is about to be held. Let's take a few photos of the event. It is the baptism of Maria and Dhanraj. Elder Olsen couldn't look happier about the fact that he will be the one doing the baptisms. Now it's time to get serious and see how they can get through the mud at the water's edge to the river. Where'd your feet go, Elder Olsen? Are you wanting your hands in the mud, too? Everyone ...

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: January 2009
http://bullocksoflakeoswego.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Thursday, January 8, 2009. Mud, mud, and more mud! Travis once asked me, "Do you have mud in the United States? I thought a minute before I answered, "Not, really.". I could hardly remember ever having to walk through the mud at home, especially mud like you see on this path to Jade and Travis' house. We received 3 big boxes of clothes from our daughter Kelly's family and her primary children and Elder Bullock and I decided to brave the mud to go deliver a few of them. I suppose ...

Bullocks of Lake Oswego: November 2008

Bullocks of Lake Oswego. Friday, November 14, 2008. 2008 baptisms in 2008. Can you imagine one mission baptizing 2008 people in the year 2008? Neither could we but the West Indies Mission is well on their way to reaching that goal by year's end. With elders as hardworking and as darling as these two traveling elders, of course it can and will happen. I was able to coax Cliff back into the font for a 'group' baptism shot. These boys are about 15 or 16. Elder Green, Elder Lee's trainer, is behind the font.
