Muziek in kleur en beweging. Inspiratie kreeg ze in de natuur van haar geboortestreek, Tolmin, en vooral door details van de rivieren Soca, Tolminka, Zadlascica, Nadiza en andere lokale bergrivieren. Muziek in kleur en beweging. De schilderende hand reageert op het ritme van de muziek wat zich weer uit in de expressieve lijnen en sterke kleuren, kenmerkend voor de muziek en het instrument. De blik van de kijker wordt meegenomen in het spirituele landschap, op zoek naar antwoorden op existentiële vragen.

Pátek 7. srpna 2015. Nějak jsem poslední dobou zahlcena přípravami na kurzy a horkým počasím, že ani moc netvořím a ani nepíšu blog. Jeden článek mě čeká, protože jsem přijala nominaci na ocenění One Lovely Blog Aword. To s sebou ovšem nese povinnost sdělit určité věci o sobě a doporučit další blogy a na to se potřebuji připravit. Jana got the inspiration out of the nature of her native region, Tolmin, and especially by several details of the Soca, Tolminka, Zadlascica, Nadiza and other local mountain rivers. Music in gesture and color. Affection for music is the pushing power that inspires this series of works in which the brush strokes are not only recordings of the painting process.
