The blatherings of one woman. Monday, September 30, 2013. First Field Trip of the School Year. Where was this exciting field trip? The Houston Museum of Fine Arts. In simpler terms: an art museum. I have a great appreciation for the finer things in life, but not so much when it comes to art. So it wasn't necessarily exciting, but at least the kids got to ride a school bus. Soooo, looks like it'll be awhile before a family visit to the art museum. Coming off the bus. Enthralled and engrossed. I think.

The blatherings of one woman. Thursday, October 31, 2013. What better way to start the week of all that is sugar and sweet, and trick and treat, than a carnival with candy prizes, hot dogs, nachos, and all other things not so nutritious. But it's fall! And these are the things we do in fall! And Saturday was a beautiful fall day, making it perfect to be outside enjoying it. From there we got the party started at the school carnival. Friends, food, and fun. I believe she went with purple and gold glitter.
