Wednesday, March 25, 2009. 4 months and growing! Here's our little girl at 4 months! She is now almost 5 months. We took her to the a couple vets this sat for a little vet shopping and she got weighed. She was 45 lbs! Today at the vet she was 48 lbs. That's 3 lbs in 4 days.NICE! Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Lately we have become party animals as this is the birthday season at the Lucas household. It all started in March with my 30th birthday. We then moved on to Lathan turning 1 at the end of the month. We threw a small family party which he indulged in lots of chocolate! He had amazing baseball cakes.I cannot take the credit as Angela is the creative one (I'm actually horrible at making cakes)! There will be a video of this to follow in a few days. Thursday, April 23, 2009. I knew it was coming some time, but I don't know if you ar. E ever really prepared for it. Poor skittles, after 17 years was just in too much pain to keep going. My mom had hoped and prayed she would die peacefully at home, but she just kept getting worse and worse. We all know it was for the best, but it's a bit difficult. Thursday, April 10, 2008. We recently took our family vacation to Arkansas and Missouri. Our first stop was in Little Rock to visit Nate's parents for Easter. This of course, included a hunt (see previous post). Papa and Nana had a great time with the boys! We also stopped by the Bass Pro shop for a quick look-around. We orginally planned for our trip home to take two days, but the boys were amazing and we made it in one day! Overall, we had a great time with our family and friends. I feel very bless...

Friday, October 16, 2009. So, I have one more run in week 8 of couch to 5k, and then I'll be on week 9, which is all 30 minute runs. Then I'll start really working on speed so I can hopefully do a 5k in those thirty minutes! I'm doin ok right now at a 12 minute mile. I'll have my work cut out for me for sure. ANYWAY, in order to keep me motivated to run, we are having 2 5ks this holiday season. Since we aren't going to be somewhere that is having a 5k.we are having our own. With our families.
