The Wood Family

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. End of the School Year 2015. At the beginning of May, the littles had their Preschool Art Show. Of course Mommy couldn't make it, but Bamama took some for me. Ms Tish sent me this picture on a Monday morning asking if Anderson had a long weekend. Indeed he had! Mrs Carmello asked for a picture of me and Harper together, so we snapped one one afternoon. I can't remember exactly what had gone on, but the month of May sure was a crazy one! And just like that, we have a first grader!

The Wood Family: Easter 2015

http://jandawood.blogspot.com/2015/06/easter-2015.html

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Here is one more from the morning before Harper's Easter chapel. Saturday before Easter we dyed eggs at Nana and Pop's house. This little man wanted to be part of it, but of course wasn't necessarily being the most gentle so I was doing my best to keep from a disastrous mess. After church we went home for naps and got ready for more fun! While outside playing, Payton decided to try and climb the Magnolia tree in the front yard. Can you spy her? As you can see, we had a fun egg hunt!

The Wood Family: March 2015

http://jandawood.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 30, 2015. Weight: 24 lbs. 12 oz. (77%). Height: 31.75 in. (68%). Head: 19.25 in. (94%). Weight: 26 lbs. 11 oz. (81%). Height: 32.2 in. (40%). Head: 19.5 in. (94%). Our sweet Anderson was 18 months on February 13, so really I should have titled this 15-19 months. As you can see, he's growing into quite a healthy boy. What can I say? The boy loves to eat! Everything is finally breaking through and he has a mouth full! The boy loves to read books! You have to read quickly, but he LOVES it!

The Wood Family: Anderson's First Haircut

http://jandawood.blogspot.com/2015/06/andersons-first-haircut.html

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Anderson got his first haircut from Mrs. Shannon on April 30! I had been debating to cut or not for a month or so. We all adore his curls, but it was getting a little wild and in his face. Thankfully, we can completely trust Shannon and she promised to cut the smallest amount possible in order to keep his curls, but tame the wildness. She did just that! It actually curled better after the haircut than before. AT this point he is about ready for another one though!

Our Little MES: November 2010

http://steveandjamyesmith.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 29, 2010. Yesterday we were able to go with a group to Callaway Gardens to see Fantasy in Lights. Steve and Morgan had never been so we decided it was a "must do" event. Since we were there we HAD to go see Santa. If you have never seen the Santa at Callaway Gardens you're missing out! He is by FAR the best Santa I've ever seen. After our visit with Santa we roamed around the tent looking for other photo ops. The best part was watching Morgan take everything in. Sunday, November 28, 2010.

The Blackburn Family: July 2010

http://bablackburn.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Today, Paxton, Ben and I went to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. We weren't sure how a toddler in the middle of his terrible twos was going to do but it was amazing. Paxton is obsessed with fish and he had the best time! He said his favorite fish was the shark! By the way, thanks Aunt Christy for the free tickets! Posted by Mrs. Blackburn. Our Little MES: March 2012

http://steveandjamyesmith.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. How I Spent My Christmas Vacation. I had such high hopes for a wonderful break with my little family, especially after we were all sick over Thanksgiving. Sadly, RSV reared its evil head in our little munchkin. She was such a trooper through all of it- the 104 temps, congestion, traveling, all of it! She literally got sick the day after we got out of school and didn't start feeling better until two days before we returned and SHE. WAS. PITIFUL! Helping Mommy decorate the tree.

The Blackburn Family: May 2011

http://bablackburn.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

It's hard to believe but Paxton had his first babysitter last night :) Ben and I went out for a much needed date night, which by the way eventually landed us at Target, and Ms. Tori kept Paxton and Barrett. Tori is one of Paxton's teachers at Auburn First Baptist. Have I mentioned before how much Ben and I love Auburn First Baptist Child Development Center? Paxton is learning so much and his teachers are fabulous! Posted by Mrs. Blackburn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers.

The Blackburn Family: Tennis & Swimming Lessons 2011

http://bablackburn.blogspot.com/2011/07/tennis-swimming-lessons-2011.html

Tennis and Swimming Lessons 2011. This summer Paxton had his first swimming lessons! He had two sweet teachers, Miss Catherine and Miss Cara. They were super sweet and Paxton did pretty good. He is not fond of people that he doesn't know and it usually takes him quite some time to warm up to people. However, lately he has been alot better with this! Paxton with Miss Cara. The Blackburn Family: Lake Fun

http://bablackburn.blogspot.com/2011/07/lake-fun.html

We went to the lake this July 4th weekend and had a blast! Paxton enjoyed his newest toy that his Papa bought for him, the tube/float- I don't know what it is called but you could hear Paxton screaming for joy as Papa pulled him around the lake! Barrett likes pool water, but the waves of the lake were a little much this weekend. He likes riding the boat. as long as the conditions are right- late afternoon and cloudy with a breeze :).
