Friday, Cass took me out on a date, a real date! We went to Tepanyaki for dinner (yum! Happy Birthday to me! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The one and only. View my complete profile. bewitched by books: The Kindness of Strangers
http://jaymesbookreviews.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-kindness-of-strangers.html
Monday, September 9, 2013. The Kindness of Strangers. The Kindness of Strangers . Is a touching novel about a widow and her two boys who welcome a third, and troubled, young boy into their home and their lives. . The Kindness of Strangers. 160;deals with sensitive topics, but is a compelling read. Kittle's style and the story itself remind me a lot of Jodi Picoult. The Kindness of Strangers. bewitched by books: The White Queen
http://jaymesbookreviews.blogspot.com/2012/06/the-white-queen.html
Wednesday, June 6, 2012. I originally read The White Queen. When it first came out, but I decided to re-read it after Lady of the Rivers so that I could read all three books in chronological order. Is about Elizabeth Woodville, the daughter of Jacquetta from The Lady of the Rivers. Tells the tale of Edward's struggles for the throne, Elizabeth's fight to marry the king as a commoner, and their romance. I think this is a great novel and ya'll should read! The Lady of the Rivers. bewitched by books: The Storyteller

Thursday, September 5, 2013. The latest Jodi Picoult book,. 160;is not quite a book I would classify as a "Jodi Picoult" book. I'd classify it as a Holocaust novel instead; it is very much unlike all her other works. Picoult tries to make it her own, make it thought provoking, but for me, it's simply a Holocaust novel. . And "Where is the line between justice and mercy? I'm not sure. . 160;is not an original novel, but it is a good read. I highly recommend it. 4.5 Stars. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, March 19, 2013. When you first look at Gail Carson Levine's. It seems like it's going to be a Snow White tale. While it has elements, it is also a story all of its own. If it wasn't called. Is a really cute YA novel. I recommend it to those who enjoy a twist to the traditional fairy tale love story. Links to this post. I really thought I hadn't read. Is a good, and important read. bewitched by books: February 2013
http://jaymesbookreviews.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 20, 2013. The Other Boleyn Girl. Just as Katherine of Aragon. Is my least favorite of Henry VIII's wives, Anne Boleyn is my favorite. This is largely due to Philippa Gregory's. The Other Boleyn Girl,. Which not only tells the story of Anne Boleyn, but also her sister, Mary, one of Henry VIII's many mistresses, and their brother George. The Other Boleyn Girl. Because it's not only an intense faux love story and affair, but it delves into the family relationships of the Boleyn siblings.

Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Babys First Road Trip! Last week I had a job interview up north, so Ellie and I decided to make a little trip out of it and stay at my parents' house for a few days. Turns out you have to pack a ton more when you're traveling with a baby than just by yourself! Suitcase, Stroller, Diaper Bag, Ellie's Bed, all for a 3 day trip! I wasn't sure how Ellie would do, and I figured we would stop at least once on the drive. But I fed her right before we left and she slept the whole way!
