Jun 26, 2009. Long time, no post. . . Here's a quick-fix! Nothing really new to report. Had our family's first ER visit a couple weeks ago, and hoping there's not a repeat performance! Claire (we thought) swallowed a couple of batteries about the same size as a watch battery. 4 hours and 2 x-rays later, there was nothing on the inside- found the batteries the next morning on the kitchen floor. That was more a relief than anything, and I don't regret the ER trip. We are also experiencing the relief that c...

Aug 15, 2011. Yesterday Ben, Claire and I all went swimming. This is one of the things we love to do, especially in summertime when the park is just too darn hot- cool off in the pool and play! He sat there for a few minutes, so we all gathered round to watch what the little lizard would do. He was so cute and tiny, and his tail matched the sky perfectly. Much to our surprise, he turned around and leaped back into the pool! The kids got infatuated with the idea of keeping the little lizard for a pet....

Dec 21, 2009. Today was pretty eventful. Some of the things I probably shouldn't laugh about, but I have to because I don't know what else to do! I took both of my kids to the doctor today, for their yearly checkups. Note: Neither one of my kidlets got a nap today. Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Kids are still in school and our pool is now open! We are trying to go as often as possible. This year for Cub Scout Camp for Jarod. I took Friday the 18 th. Off and I drove up the boys and meet up with their den mother. We had soooo. Much fun. It was my first time. We had 5 boys and the group of boys we ended up with were soooo. Obnoxious and disrespectful and our boys we so good. By the end of the day one of the boys came up to me and said he was getting irritated by them.

On the silly side of things. Sunday, March 27, 2011. 2011 Shamrock Half Marathon. Top of the mornin' to ya! March's run took place in Saratoga Springs and when asked 'How'd it go? Sean's response would be, "It was alright." The air was cold, the winds were whipping around something fierce and Sean had eaten far too much junk food and gotten far too little sleep the night before. That's ok. We'll just call this one 'a learning experience' and look forward to April's run with eyes of optimism:).
