Sunday, 18 April 2010. Paddling at the Ends of the Earth. Well, that was a bit tougher than we thought. Sat in a triple kayak (us plus guide) in our wetsuits, we set out on a sunny and fairly calm day from Ushuaia port, heading out into the Beagle Channel. What an experience, and what a way to end the trip: paddling at the end of the world. Tomorrow we fly to BA and after an overnight stop, we should be coming home, volcano permitting. Thursday, 15 April 2010. Back in the Saddle. What better way to see the pampas than on horseback? With the sun shining brightly over the waving grasses we saddled up some stocky steeds and trotted, then cantered out onto the rolling pains. The grass here is waist high, so the other riders look like they are floating through it.
