Two days in a row! Elizabeth had her 6 month appointment today. She didn't get any taller than last time (still 26.5" long), but she's 18 pounds, 4 ounces. I'm pretty sure that extra 4 ounces was her diaper though- she was soaked when I put her on there :) Anywho, she's in the 75th percentile for her age. Forgot to ask what her head circumference was, but according to the doctor, she's doing wonderfully! Here are a few more pics from the weekend:. A whole lot of firsts. Okay, so not really the first.

We had quite a week this week! Mom and dad left yesterday after spending most of the week with us. It was nice having them around to help. Jay and mom spent most of Christmas day cleaning the kitchen. It looks awesome! I don't think it was even that clean when we moved in. She cleaned the bathroom for us on Friday too- what a treat! On a side note, I was feeling a little lucky yesterday and decided to try on my regular jeans and guess what? Jay noticed right away! She looked like a little Kewpie doll!

Here are some recent pictures of our lil' peanut! Look at the camera, Daddy! Playing in her new toy from Grandma and Grandpa Purkat. I was trying to do some dishes and she was in need of some entertainment. I put her in the high chair and turned the mobile from the Pack n' Play on. She was absolutely mesmerized! Nothing much new to report! Elizabeth has been staying pretty healthy for the most part. A few sniffles here and there, but nothing too bad. She's growing like a weed and is smiling more and more each day. She's got quite the little personality! The first weekend in March the three of us were supposed to head back home. Jay ended up getting a cold that week and decided to stay back so he wouldn't get anyone else sick. It's a good thing he did- it ended up turning into the stomach flu! She's 36 weeks now!

Oh my what a busy month! It seems as though Elizabeth changes every day. She is capable of doing so many new things it amazes me! What a difference a year makes. One year ago today, I found out I was pregnant with Elizabeth. Its so hard to believe how fast the time has gone! The day started out much like today. I woke up early and felt like complete crap thanks to my sinuses (I stayed home today. icky! After that, I went up to the clinic and had some blood drawn.
