Life is a Daily Adventure. Monday, September 27, 2010. Another Weekend in Ohio. Jonathon and I headed to Akron on Friday to check-in and get a good night of rest for the Akron Marathon on Saturday. Life is a Daily Adventure. Sunday, July 4, 2010. 4th of July Weekend. No fireworks.no family cookouts.no big celebrations. I hadn't seen Jonathon in two weeks so we made this a weekend of nothing. He agreed to see the Twilight movie with me Friday night, we both woke up and did separate workouts on Saturday morning, then we turned this weekend into a movie marathon.just the two of us! From January-April I got stronger and faster at each part. My only goals were: 1. Not to get hurt or drown. and 2. Not to come in dead last in any race. I succeeded! Sunday, May 25, 2008. Yesterday was the scariest day of my parenting life. Lauren drank up to 4 oz of children's Dimatap that I had stupidly left on the counter in the master bathroom. She is fine. With a quick call to Poison control and an even quicker trip to the ER, she was given charcoal to drink and was monitored for 4 hours. The ER Doc released her and said she was fine.
