Friday, May 31, 2013. I think we've got ourselves a new tradition. WE CAMPED over MEMORIAL DAY in our BACK YARD - with FRIENDS! It was SO FUN! The 3 families and all their kids grilled out for dinner, then roasted marshmellows for dessert. We stayed in our pop up camper the other families stayed in their tents and volkswagon van (it's like a mini RV). We had just a little spit of rain here and there, but it didn't hinder our fun! I think it will just take LOTS of practice! Gardening at the Schmidt House.

Monday, April 1, 2013. And April Fools fun). He is Risen indeed! We have had a great Easter weekend - painting eggs, an Easter Egg Hunt at a friends and then Easter Sunday Fun! I love this time of year! I LOVE that after 47 days a Lent, (denial, sacrifice, giving stuff up) there is RESURRECTION on Sunday! The tomb is empty! We celebrate, similar to Christmas morning - with all the eggs, candy, baskets and fun waiting. Then, we eat cinnamon rolls! And for Easter, I have my long anticipated Cadbury Egg!

It is just so great, cuz when I sync my phone, it automatically brings in the new pictures! Have I mentioned how much I love this phone? Seriously, I love having my own space. I feel like this has really helped in so many ways.
