The Spear Family Part 2. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Happy Fourth of July. First my cute boys on Sunday, matching ties! Nothing fancy for the 4th of July but I always enjoy the holdiay. In Spokane you can't light off fireworks so we don't even have to stay up late:). So on the 4th we washed Jon's truck, the kids "helped". Rachelle made us dutch oven chicken and corn on the cob for the holiday. It was so yummy! We met at Mark and Karen's for dinner. I took some pic's of the kids there. S'mores is a must!

The Spear Family Part 2. Monday, August 20, 2012. Fieldtrip to the farm! For the last day of Nixon's preschool we took them up to one of the girl's families farms. They kids loving chasing the chickens and ducks around! They got to feet them and hold them and scare them all too! Nixon found the dogs too of course and forgot about the ducks and played with the dogs in the field. They even got to get a fresh chicken egg to take home! I will miss seeing them this summer! I really have enjoyed this year teaching! Nixon was in my class and he was awesome! I was so proud of him and amazed at how well he followed me and knew the routines! Friday, March 20, 2015. Cindy Cinders' First Year. Our little Cinders is a year old. She is so sweet and the perfect calm puppy to match Bruno's craziness. She's a troublemaker through and through, but also the sweetest puppy anyone could ask for. She was the most precious puppy! Like I said, troublemaker! Friday, May 30, 2014. We attempted to go on a hike today, it's a trail that's right behind our new house. Wednesday, May 29. Danielle told us about a kid-friendly hike to a waterfall up Pleasant Grove Canyon and we decided to try it out on Memorial Day. This was the girls' first experience with hiking and it was so fun. They wanted to stop every few minutes to explore. I love their curiosity so much. This was a butterfly we stopped to study for a while. They wanted to stay here all day and throw rocks in this pond off the side of the trail. Then we found a little cave to explore.
