Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Ryan and I left the kids at home and ditched the neverending winter for a trip to Cuba! We loved it - everything was amazing! Well most of it anyways.). This was our resort:. Right on the beach, beautiful views. There were a few very tame cats that hung around, getting love and snacks. Lizards that were zipping around everywhere. One of the entertainment staff. "Picture tiiiiime! In the lobby drinking the best coffee ever. Definitely remembered to put this out! Games by the pool.

Sunday, October 16, 2011. We went on a tour of Alberta a few weeks ago - thought it was about time the kids saw the mountains! It was an amazing time to go, all the leaves were turning colours, and while it wasn't a "hot" vacation, it was still warm enough (for the most part. there is one photo of us in a blizzard! Friday, April 05, 2013. Wow I have been more than delinquent with updates to this blog. I'll try and do a quick catchup and then keep this more up to date again! We got a new puppy! Piper is a Springer/Setter cross. She is super soft, loves cuddles and hugs and is the biggest troublemaker ever. As puppies are, I guess. We had Halloween with a butterfly and Batman! Also, Tegan got a haircut, after which the hairdressers all gathered around her to try out this new "hair do" - a bow on top of her head!

Friday, December 09, 2011. And we've hit Christmas! We just decorated the tree last weekend, and it's starting to feel very Christmas-y around here, despite the lack of snow. Don't worry all you Vancouverites, it is still Ridiculous Cold. But with no snow, so not even worth it. But still - I am feeling very joyous and festive. True story. Onwards. The Tree!
