Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Lagoon and Seven Peaks. We (except for Kirby) were all able to go down to Salt Lake City for a few days and go to Lagoon and Seven Peaks with the Lott's and Holyoak's. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. As a reward for getting potty trained, Lynnlee got to get her ears pierced. She was so excited to get earings and wanted "diamonds". Thursday, June 7, 2012. Marlin the Metalpecker, our male Northern Flicker woodpecker friend, is back, waking us up in the early morning hours. The Stars at Night Are Big and Bright. Pretty much everywhere I've lived. Will I be shocked at the size of them viewed from the Texas sky? We shall see. Dan has accepted a temporary summer position at Aeonclad in Austin so we are heading down there for a very expensive vacation (with all our stuff). My oh my is it expensive to live there! Thursday, August 23, 2012. There is so much going on that it's consistently hard to sit down and write a few things. My journal is touched even less if you can believe it. We've finished putting the rest of the July pictures in that album and have uploaded all our August pictures as well. Makenna has always wanted to go to the beach. We actually got in the water too, despite the lack of pictures to attest to it. It was around 80 degrees in there, but very salty! This Old Farmhouse Salt Lake City.
