The HP Project: August 2015
http://thehpproject.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Monday, August 24, 2015. The New Backyard Fun! It's up, but I feel like the pictures don't do it justice. Joe worked SO hard to make this used play set seem like new. Took down our old treehouse. Disassembled the new play set from our neighbors house. Leveled out our backyard and made a mini retaining wall. Replanted several hostas that were in the way of the new play set. Power washed the play set pieces. And fixed the sandbox cover.

The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Monday, June 22, 2015. The Boys go Camping. Henry and Joe took a little overnight camping trip with one of Henry's best buddies and his dad. Judging by how much gear they took, they could've camped for weeks! They rented kayaks and spent some time on the water at Branched Oak Lake. They tried fishing, but didn't catch anything except stick fish. They picked up some crawfish and leeches for bait. And for fun. Lydia is sitting in the bumb...

The HP Project: Lake Living in Western Nebraska
http://thehpproject.blogspot.com/2015/08/lake-living-in-western-nebraska.html
The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Lake Living in Western Nebraska. At the start of the summer, I asked the kids what they wanted to do. Their requests: visit North Platte and visit Brunswick. With only a few weeks left in summer, we headed west. You can see Holly wanted to bring her cowboy hat. It would've been appropriate! Lydia liked lake living, too! The only pic we got of the kids together (minus Lydia). They were watching Battle Bots!

The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Monday, July 20, 2015. Lily in Omaha (and other fun). The rest of the Howard family left, but Lily got to stay and we have been having lots of fun adventures with her. We hit up the zoo, where new polar bear statues are there to greet us. Our good friends, the Crotzers, invited us out to Ginger Cove lake for a day of fun. Lily, Henry, and Maggie spent ALL day in the lake! This guy is reading whenever he can. And however he can.

http://thehpproject.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. First Week of Spring. Technically, it was the last week of winter. but last week sure felt like the first week of spring. We're not going to talk about today, which is rainy and cold. So instead let's just take a look back at all the fun we had when it was sunny and 70. We went to the Children's Museum. Which was a mistake. Too crowded. But Holly did love riding the pig. We made brownies. And licked the bowl.

The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Thursday, May 21, 2015. May has been flying by! I've spent a lot of it in the bathroom, thanks to this girl. There's a lot of "Take my picture, mom! And "Let me hold Lydia, mom! Big thanks to John and Kendra for letting us borrow the Magic Sleepsuit. I don't know if it's magic or Lydia is magic, but she is sleeping well in her own crib! Lydia is still sweet and easy and tolerates the attention well. Lydia really is the greatest baby....

http://thehpproject.blogspot.com/2015/08/last-day-of-summer.html
The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Last Day of Summer. Summer went out with a bang around here. We let Maggie pick the agenda for the last day and it was jam-packed with fun. We hit up the zoo in the morning and walked the entire way around the zoo. We fed the budgies, which is always a favorite activity. Then home for "unlimited" screen time (in the two hours until dinner). Holly was wiped out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The HP Project: January 2015
http://thehpproject.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
The Howard People Project. Featuring Henry, Maggie, Holly and Lydia. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. As we are getting closer to the arrival of baby #4, I am getting lazier. You can track it by how few photos I've taken in the past few weeks. Mostly because we've just been sitting at home, reading books, playing toys and napping. Here are a few fun things we've ventured out for:. Beforehand, we had lunch out. This boy loves nachos - his favorite food. He ate almost the entire plate full. More from the beach.
