Saturday, May 07, 2005. So, after the rest of the convoy left, I immediately headed on over to Dairy Queen. Yes, I know, they have a freaking Dairy Queen here. Tuesday, November 22, 2005. I've been thinking lately, and it's something that I wish I didn't have to think about. You see, in the newspaper for the base a couple weeks ago, they had a listing of all the Marines that have been killed in the war on terror. I had the pleasure of knowing a few of these heroes. He died in Fallujah on September 16th, 2004 from what I was told was an IED. He was only 21, in the turret of a Humvee behind the 50 cal, fighting for his brothers. There is no greater love than this...

Sunday, March 27, 2005. Sleep is a crutch. One good thing that happened the other day was that I got to use the Iridium Satellite phone, which is basically like a worldwide cellphone, to call my brother and my mom. I talked to my brother for a while about a whole lot of stuff and my mom of course was happy to hear from me since she hadn't in a while and she was getting worried (She watches the news too much). Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Other than that, nothing much really happening these days. We ran the Obstacle Course this morning, which wasn't too bad. I ended up running through it four times though, so I was pretty dead. Jacob. Actually updated his blog, I'm so happy. I read the book, and now I can't wait to see this movie.
