Epilogue 13: Docs, Cats and Things?
http://epilogue13.blogspot.com/2010/04/docs-cats-and-things.html
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Docs, Cats and Things? Google Doc's, Worldcat, Librarything". So, google doc's as I've said is good, have just added my first "collaborator" kinda cool! Worldcat and Librarything are fun, although would need to spend a bit more time finding my way around. But I did manage to add a couple of books to my Librarything, rate them and add tags. I like the idea behind them. Good idea that individuals can have their say. Look forward to having a play around when I have some more time.

Epilogue 13: Wiggy Widgets & Gaggly Gadgets
http://epilogue13.blogspot.com/2010/04/wiggy-widgets-gaggly-gadgets.html
Sunday, April 4, 2010. Wiggy Widgets and Gaggly Gadgets. I really like Widgets, I use them on my mac 'Dashboard', mainly for the weather, world clock and web cams. I sort of see it as having a 'bookmark in picture form'. I think these would work really well for libraries, especially a catalogue, as it would save you having go the the library home page. You could be on the net see a book you want to read and put it straight into a search. I hope this will be a growth area in the Christchurch Libraries.

Claire and Richard's awfully big adventure: Wales
http://claireandrich.blogspot.com/2007/06/wales.html
Claire and Richard's awfully big adventure. Friday, 29 June 2007. Well, I find myself alone in Wales. Currently I am staying with Richard's brother while Rich spends 48 hours in Shrewsbury hospital having antibiotics pumped into him. He has suspected Cellulitis. And the first course of antibiotics he was given haven't done much. I might be travelling off on my own for a fews days while Rich soaks up the antibiotics. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). He converts old barns into houses for a living and one of his latest ventures, instead of selling off he now rents out as a holiday home. You can have a look at it here. Six Weeks,...
