The Tot Spot: We Are, Joe Paterno
http://spottot.blogspot.com/2011/11/we-are-joe-paterno.html
Thursday, November 10, 2011. We Are, Joe Paterno. The tradition starts with the chant. We are, Penn State. It didn't start at Marshall. It was 1947/8 and Penn State was playing in the Cotton Bowl. The opposing team didn't want to play againt blacks and the Penn State response was, 'We are, Penn State.' They stick together and stand up for what is right. Penn State has the program it does because of Joe Paterno. I just hope that those that wanted him gone remember that. He deserves more and better...Blond...

I was kind of hitching a ride with my family because my brother-in-law, Mitch, was attending an annual swine conference. My mom and sister went too. Here are a few of the highlights of the trip:. Highlight #1: The food. Highlight #2: Catchin’ up on the zzz’s. Highlight #3: Zoo and Museum Day. We headed to the Dallas Zoo and enjoyed some tours, awesome animals (My favorite was definitely the Zebras! Need I say more?

Friday, November 13, 2009. Jesus the Healer. He wasn’t joking about taking your heart, in the state that it is in—hurt, suppressed, bent out of shape, and bubbling over with abrasions that go deep to the core. He would have gladly helped you tweak things so that they wouldn’t turn into a bigger problem. Instead, you will then have to resort to taking jaws-of-life to pull things out. So it’s up to you and me—tweezers or jaws-of-life? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sunday, October 4, 2009. So let's take a moment and dig through why this was a bad choice. Reason number one:. Having the title be so broad as to say "Thai Rice" and make all judgments based off of that. Clearly, if there are no descriptions with a few ingredients you are getting yourself into a night of pain. Reason number two:. So, all-in-all it was a great trip. I enjoyed the windy city and maybe not the cuisine of china town.but I will give it another shot sometime. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

August 22, 2013. August 21, 2013. Thankful for…. a reunion! It’s always so good to see my friend Janelle. And pick up wright where we left off (ha! I just noticed my spelling error but I’m totally going to keep it. How fitting! 8216;), and had some good discussions. I also had a chance to see her practice with a roller derby team here since she plays on a team in Oklahoma, so the sport’s not. As confusing to me, but there are still a lot of rules I don’t understand yet! August 26, 2013 at 10:49 am.

December 18, 2016. Ten years ago today, I returned from a trip that was the most life-changing, impactful experience. I had studied abroad for a semester in college, and arrived back home in the US on December 18th, 2006, in order to be home for Christmas (The semester term wasn’t finished, however, so my “finals week” from the university abroad overlapped with the first few weeks of classes at my home university in January – ay carumba! But that’s a sidenote). Instead, I dreaded being “that girl&#...
